Shake shack
The second Shake Shack restaurant outside of London is opening today at Lakeside.
Shack Shack is hugely popular in America, and the trend has made its way to England with the Lakeside store marking the tenth to open in the UK.
The restaurant officially opens at 6pm today.
A special breakdance performance will kick off the grand opening, and the first 100 guests will be treated to limited edition tote bags and note books by illustrator Kate Prior.
The Lakeside Shack will donate 5 per cent of sales from Pie Oh My to support Open Door, an independent charity providing support for children and young people in Thurrock since 1979.
