IF you are a regular on the M62 you're probably used to seeing matrix signs warning of future overnight closures.

But what if you have already forgotten by the time you get home the dates you need to avoid the motorway?

Smart motorway work takes place between Croft Interchange and Eccles (junctions 10 to 12).

And if you're fed up of trying to remember when and what time the closures take place, we've put together this guide for you during May.

All the roadworks take place between 10pm and 6am.

Central reservations works are currently taking place before verge works in both directions which mean overnight closures on the M62 westbound between 12 and 10 on:

9, 12, 13 and 14 May and then May 20

M62 Eastbound junctions 10 to 12:

10 and 11 May and then every night from May 15 to May 19 and then May 21, 22 and 23.
