Continuing our Now and Then series in Down Memory Lane we take a look at Little Thurrock Broadway. This area has changed very little apart from the modern shopfronts and the change of use, but walking in the road would be inadvisable today!
Next we see Orsett Road, Grays, even today the roof lines of some buildings help to identify shops which are still standing.
Masons gave way to the Co-operative when Congress House was built but even that has now changed to the Queensgate Centre.
