The M25 is shut near Dartford Crossing after a crash.
There are six miles of queues on the M25 clockwise near at the Dartford Crossing with all traffic temporarily held following a crash.
The crash happened earlier this afternoon.
Lane two and three on the road heading from Essex into Kent over the bridge have been shut.
Traffic officers are currently on the scene to assist.
The tailbacks are now six miles in length and the average speeds on approach to junction 1B are currently just 5mph.
It’s currently unknown how long it will take to clear the scene but normal traffic conditions aren’t expected to return for some time.
Any drivers heading from Essex into Kent across the crossing are advised to leave more time to complete their journeys.
