A SCHOOL has launched its Easter trail with an arty twist for pupils.

Burnham Primary School, in Dunkirk Road, had 14 students create pieces of art to be part of the holiday trail.

The trail, which was launched on Saturday, has been created to help the school raise £10,000 for its new art and science ‘discovery room’.

The school’s PTA came up with the idea of the art trail to help continue fundraising for the event.

A spokesman said: “The competition is for the children of the school to find all 14 pieces of artwork and enter into a prize draw.

“There is a second competition to vote for the piece of artwork that the children liked the best and the one with the most votes wins a prize for the class.

“We would like the public to join in with the voting for a donation of their choice.”

The artworks will be on show at shops in Burnham town centre.

Pupils and parents can vote for their favourite artwork after they have found all 14 on the trail.

Entering a vote for the prize draw costs £1.
