A paedophile hunter group snared this child worker who targeted '13-year-old girl' online.

Christopher Luck, 42, from South Ockendon who works at Stubbers Adventure Centre, Ockendon Road, Upminster has been charged with sexual communication with a child and possession of cannabis.

A video showed members of The Soloceptors 'paedophile hunters' team approaching and questioning 42-year-old Christopher Luck while he was at work at Stubbers Adventure Centre, Ockendon Road, Upminster.

He was later arrested and charged with sexual communication with a child and possession of cannabis.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Christopher Luck, aged 42 of Annalee Gardens, South Ockendon has pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual communications with a child and possession of Cannabis at Redbridge Magistrates’ Court, on Monday, April 8.

"This followed his arrest on Saturday, April 6 on Ockendon Road, Upminster and subsequent charge the next day.

"He has been given conditional bail and will be sentenced on Tuesday, 16 April at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court."

A spokesman for Stubbers Adventure Centre said: "Stubbers statement in full: "We are shocked to discover that a member of staff was arrested on Saturday April 6.  

"We will of course be liaising with the police to assist them as required but from what we understand, this arrest relates to crimes committed outside of work.  

"The member of staff was immediately suspended pending an investigation, in line with our HR procedures.

"We prioritise the safeguarding and welfare of young people above anything else and we ensure that all staff members have current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks and receive regular safeguarding training.  

"We do not have any information to suggest that any young people connected with our centre have been involved in any way."
