School children have raised hundreds of pounds for a charity that supports youngsters across the UK.
Pupils of Woodham Walter Primary School, in The Street, hosted a Number Day to raise money for the NSPCC.
They spent the morning completing a host of different activities and challenges within a certain time limit.
The children asked their friends and families to sponsor them to raise as much money for as possible for the charity.
A total of £611 was raised for the cause.
School spokesman Claire Lethbridge said “The children thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, they were raising money for a fabulous cause and reinforcing their times tables and number bonds at the same time.
“On behalf of the charity we would like to say a huge thank you to all the families who kindly donated money for such a worthy cause.”
