A Labrador cross is looking for a new home after spending almost 1,000 days in kennels.
Four-year old, Clover, has spent nearly all her life in kennels.
It's left the Dogs Trust Basildon baffled as to why she hasn’t been snapped up by a new family yet.
Lisa Cooper, Dogs Trust Basildon rehoming centre manager said: "Clover absolutely loves a cuddle with her canine carer friends, and we’re at a loss as to why she hasn’t found a new family to indulge her in her love of snuggle time.
"After having caught the eye of eight different families, but never having made it home, we’re hoping its ninth time lucky for our loveable lady.
"Clover is a big fan of spending time with her human friends and would enjoy plenty of visits with a new family before she heads off to her home.
"Her ideal new home will be one with patient owners who can give her time and space to find her paws and offer her a routine that makes her feel safe in her environment. She has so much love to give that we know she will thrive with the right family.”
Anyone interested in offering Clover a new home should visit her at Dogs Trust Basildon, Nevendon Road, Basildon.
