A BY-ELECTION will be held in Thurrock next month.
The Returning Officer for Thurrock Council has published the Notice of Election for the Aveley and Uplands by-election.
A poll will be held on Thursday March 21, with polling stations will open from 7am to 10pm.
Nominations to stand as a candidate for the Aveley and Uplands by-election close at 4pm on Friday February 22.
Polling cards will be delivered to all eligible electors in the Aveley and Uplands ward on the Electoral Register.
Polling stations this year will be at Aveley Methodist Church Hall, Shannon Way, Aveley Public Hall, Purfleet Road, The Sycamores, Dacre Avenue, Aveley, and Hugh Delargy Hall, Wood Avenue, Uplands Estate.
Constituents have until March 5 to register to vote in the by-election.
