CROOKS stole nearly £2,000 worth of cable.
The thieves got into the yard in Sandy Lane, West Thurrock after cutting a hole in the fence.
They stole the armoured cable, which is used to carry a power supply, worth £1,800.
It happened some time overnight on Wednesday, October 3.
