THREE teenagers accused of being part of a gang who kidnapped and tortured two men are to stand trial.
Femi Ajayi, 18, pleaded not guilty to kidnapping Leon Rock and Martin Crease, having an imitation firearm with intent and having an offensive weapon in Viking Way, Canvey.
Ajayi, of Leigh Road, East Ham, also denied falsely imprisoning the two alleged victims at a house in Tilbury, throwing boiling water in their face, two counts of wounding with intent and robbing Mr Crease of his mobile phone, cash and credit card.
Ajayi and one of his two 17-year-old co defendants who lives in East Ham, is also accused of assaulting Mr Rock.
Ajayi and the two youths all deny another count of kidnap.
All the alleged offences took place on July 31.
The defendants were all remanded in custody and will reappear at Basildon Crown Court for trial on Monday, February 11 next year.
