I FEEL I must write again re traffic congestion at the Sainsbury/Lakeside roundabout.
Whenever the lights on the roundabout are on there are nothing but traffic jams in every direction. When they are turned off for whatever reason the jams disappear as if by magic.
This must tell the boffins who manage our roads that something is not right. I also can't believe why, with the increase in traffic over the whole country, and as we hear talk about making the M25 wider, we in our county in our wisdom paint white lines to make our roads narrower. Does this make any sense?
Remedy: Take the lights away, take the lines away, use the roundabouts as they were designed to be used and maybe we might be able to use our commonsense again!
