A teenager has been charged after a boy was stabbed in Grays.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a leg wound following the incident in Jesmond Road, on Tuesday, January 1.
His injuries were not life threatening or life changing.
Kevin Price, 18, of Lodge Lane, Grays, has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 3.
An 18-year-old man from Grays and a 17-year-old boy from Grays who were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and robbery have been released on bail until January 29 while we continue our enquiries.
