THREE people arrested in connection with a road smash in which a biker was killed have had their bail extended.
Stephen Fielder, 53, of Gardenfields, Steeple, was killed after his bike was involved in a collision with a VW Caddy on the London-bound track of the A13 near Grays.
A 28-year-old man from Plaistow was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the crash on Friday, July 25 this year.
Police also arrested a 25-year-old woman and a man, 24, both from Grays on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the crash.
All three were released on bail pending further investigation and returned to answer the charges last week.
They all had their bail extended until December while police continue to investigate.
