FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the rescue after a car crashed into a home.
The incident happened yesterday in Araglen Avenue, South Ockendon at 3:16pm.
Three fire crews were called to the scene.Incident Number: 91624
On arrival firefighters reported that one person was trapped in their car and that the car had hit with an external gas meter.
Firefighters liaised with the National Grid to ensure the scene was safe.
Firefighters worked to release the casualty and leave them in the care of the Ambulance Service by 3.35pm.
