Santa is on his way and here is how you can track his journey.

He will be visiting locations around Colchester on his sleigh bringing festive spirit to the streets this month.

The aim of Santa's Sleigh is to raise money for a number of local charities.

This year, Colchester Round Table 367 has chosen to support several charities which include Colchester Rough Sleepers Group, Beacon House, Night Shelter, Ladies Circle, Tom Bowdridge Foundation, St Helena's Hospice, and The Rob George Foundation.

The elves' that walk alongside Santa each evening will be collecting for the chosen charities.

Cyril Thomas, chairman of Colchester Round Table 367, said: “It's invigorating to see so many charities and businesses come together to bring some festive cheer to the town and raise funds for local charitable causes."
