RESIDENTS still have the chance to catch a pop-up Christmas shop this week.
Organisers of the Burnham Art Trail, which took place in the summer, are putting on the event in Station Road, Burnham, until this Sunday.
A showcase of work by 20 artists includes a collection of original paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewellery, crafts, photographs, prints and cards.
Organiser Glynnis Dye said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to buy a truly special gift that cannot normally be found on the high street.
“The Christmas pop-up shop features artists from this year’s art trail and is a chance for them to sell directly to the public with no commission attached.
“The art trail is a community of local artists who are passionate about engaging and improving our community, run by volunteers and not for profit.
“We are really excited to bring this together.
“It’s great to see all the work in one location and it’s such a fantastic opportunity for our artists to be able to sell directly to the public.”
She added: “Plans for the next year’s Burnham Art Trail include Art on the Quay which will become an all-day event as well as open studios and artist workshops.
“We will also have a community project in which we will work with the three schools in our area.”
The pop-up shop follows the successful 14th Burnham Art Trail earlier this year when 48 artists showcased their work at 33 venues, including ten open studios.
The shop is open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
