A TILBURY store is a cut above the rest when it comes to raising cash for charity.
Over two days the Spar in Calcutta Road raised £900 for the NSPCC, £600 of which was raised by employee Debbie Coughlan who had a close shave thanks to hairdresser Joanne Higgs.
The fundraising days, held on Friday and Saturday to mark Spar's 50th birthday, included a raffle, tombola and face painting.
