PLANS to convert a convenience shop into a takeaway have been refused by the council over concerns about loss of a shop in he area.
Poh Geok, Lee Wah and Hoong Woon submitted the plans for Premier, River View, Chadwell St Mary.
Thurrock Council also raised concerns about increased noise, smells and number of visitors to the site.
