A COLLEGE will host a business forum to bring licensees and security staff up to date with the latest regulations on 24-hour drinking.
The forum, jointly run by South East Essex College and Essex Police, is aimed at helping licensees know the law and how they can work with police.
There will be presentations from police, as well as demonstrations of the latest techniques used by qualified door supervisors in spotting potential trouble and preventing it.
The forum will highlight new training methods, including skills for physical intervening, conflict management and qualifications for bar staff.
The latest range of equipment available for security workers will also be on show.
The event is on Tuesday, October 2, at the college's Luker Road site in Southend between 6pm and 8.30pm. Call 01702 220600.
