THE stars of this year’s hotly anticipated pantomime have been out and about at major events promoting this year’s production.

The stellar cast of this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, including former Towie star Dan Osborne – who was on this year’s Celebrity big Brother – were at this year’s Orsett Showground fireworks spectacular.

The stars also spent time promoting the Polka Dot Pantomimes show at Lakeside, letting shoppers know all about the upcoming panto at Thameside Theatre, Orsett Road, Grays.

Dan is starring in the production as the Genie and Thurrock’s favourite Dame, Luke Coldham, is Widow Twankey.

Councillor Deborah Huelin, responsible for communities, said: “This year’s panto promises to be a huge hit and it is great to see the excitement building as the cast get out and about in the community ahead of the first night later this month.

“Aladdin is a real family favourite and tickets are selling fast, so I would encourage people to book quickly to avoid any disappointment.

“With a star-studded cast, dazzling costumes, fabulous scenery and some truly magical surprises, the only way is panto this Christmas.”

Billed as the “adventure of a lifetime this Christmas” the show is full off spectacular scenery, dazzling costumes, spellbinding special effects and lots of audience participation.

Performances run from Friday, November 30 until Sunday, January 6, with discounts available for schools, families and party bookings.

With 61 fun-filled performances running throughout the festive period, don’t miss your opportunity to boo the evil Abanazar, laugh along with Widow Twankey and cheer hero Aladdin.

Tickets are available from £16.
