Father Christmas returns to Maldon district in December to make final notes on who’s been naughty or nice.

Stow Maries Aerodrome, Perrywood Garden Centre and the St Lawrence Christmas Fair will all play host to Santa as his grotto will pitch up ready to make the dreams of every child come true.

He will be accompanied by two of his reindeer at Stow Maries in Hackmans Lane, Purleigh every Saturday in December before Christmas Day.

Families will take pictures with Santa and sit in his sleigh, before taking part in a range of activities.

Young guests will decorate tealights and write a festive letter straight to the North Pole, before meeting him in his brand new log cabin.

Ian Flint, chief executive of the aerodrome is confident this Christmas will be the biggest so far.

He said: “I am delighted that Father Christmas will return to Stow Maries this year.

“It is set to be an even bigger and better than last year.

“The preparations for these special days are already well in hand, so make sure you get your tickets soon!

“When they run out, we can’t offer more, unfortunately. “

Santa will also be appearing at his Grotto at Perrywood in Tiptree on December 1.

For £10 per person, visitors will be welcomed into the magical space, filled with singing reindeer, friendly elves followed by a sit down with Father Christmas himself.

Hannah Powell from Perrywood, added: “Christmas is a wonderful time at Perrywood and it is something that both our customers and staff look forward to every year.”

Tickets are limited to 50 children each day at Stow Maries Aerodrome. Admission is £27.50 each child and £5 per adult with a hot drink included. For more, go to www.stowmaries.org.uk.
