A tractor stolen from Southminster has been recovered.
The green John Deere Tractor was stolen in the early hours of October 23 from an address in Scotts Hill.
The devastated owner launched an appeal alongside community groups in the Dengie in the hope the vehicle, which could sell for up to £28,000 could be found.
Essex Police's search brought them to an open field in Runwell, near Wickford where the vehicle had been dumped.
Beside the vehicle was also a kit car, built by a father and son team from the town which had been stolen in the weeks prior.
The orange vehicle, affectionately known as 'Jaffa' by its owners had taken them 11 years to complete.
Essex Police found both vehicles fully intact and they have since been returned home to their owners.
After recovering the vehicles, a spokesman for the Chelmsford and Malson policing team, said: "Another happy owner has been reunited with his tractor, found by the team."
Officers are continuing to search for other vehicles that have been stolen from the area.
If you have any information that could lead to their recovery, call 101 and ask to speak to Essex Police.
