A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm after a shooting in Great Warley.
A 20-year-old man from South Ockendon was arrested at around 7.10am yesterday and remains in custody for questioning.
Police received reports a man was shot in the stomach at an address in Warley Street, Great Warley at around 1.05am on Monday, October 22.
A man was rushed to hospital for his injuries and has since been discharged.
The suspect was also arrested on suspicion of three aggravated burglaries in Brentwood, Braintree and Corringham between Sunday, October 21, and Wednesday, October 24.
