DEAN Brennan admits Billericay Town face a real test of character when they travel to Taunton Town in an FA Cup replay on Wednesday.
Billericay drew 2-2 with the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South side in the fourth qualifying round of the competition – with the visitors reduced to 10 men and missing a penalty.
Both teams will be in the hat for the next round (with the draw taking place on Monday evening).
And Brennan said his team conceded poor goals, albeit had luck on their side as well.
“We worked very hard to take the lead but gave away two sloppy goals,” he said.
“Taunton were clinical with their opportunities. We worked hard and we had enough chances to win two games. We had a bit of luck with them missing the penalty and it’s a test of character now.
“They are a dynamic, athletic and fit team and that’s how I want my teams to be.
“I give the opposition credit and we look forward to the challenge on Wednesday.”
