HOW ridiculous is this.
The cars along Lodge Lane, Grays, do not cause an obstruction to drivers or pedestrians yet the council want to stop residents parking on their verges?
What about the traffic lights at Rectory and Chadwell Road!
Cars are parked both sides of the road, people cannot even walk on the path and traffic is down to one lane.
Likewise at the top of Chadwell Road, where it meets Southend Road, again parked cars causing an obstruction.
What is the difference in legislation on Thurrock roads where some park causing serious congestion and obstructions, yet the council can impose fines willy nilly where they like, and totally ignore others.
I don’t even live on Lodge Lane, but can’t believe the double standards of the council.
