Throughout August, the Grays Shopping Centre is the place to visit for some of the best children’s entertainment around.

Every August Funday Friday during the school holidays, there will be free entertainment with something for everyone to enjoy – with hula hooping and ballet, puppets and slime workshops – all of which are not only visually enjoyable, but children will be invited to take part and join in the activity!

On Friday August 17, it’s Slime Time when between 11am and 3pm, where children can take part in the latest craze – Slime Workshops.

Spaces are limited, so wannabe ‘slimers’ need to visit the What’s On page on the centre’s Website book a spot.

Youngsters are invited to ‘get up, get active’ on Friday, August 10 when Angie Mack demonstrates her hula-hooping skills and invites the children to get in on the act!

With a stack of colourful hoops and funky tunes, Angie demonstrates the skilful art of hula hooping with a Hula Hoop Workshop at 1pm.

Angie Mack is a professional hula hoop performer, performing on TV, stage and at festivals worldwide using circus hoops.

Finally, on Friday, August 24,the Puppetree Theatre Company brings puppets to life at 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
