Drivers passed slowly beside the catastrophic crash as the lorry was beached beside the central reservation.
Hundreds of famous red cans of Coca-Cola can be seen spilled across the carriageway with the back of the truck on its side.
A Co-op delivery vehicle blocked the righthand lane as drivers passed by.
Highways England have kept the road closed overnight and a clean up mission is still being undertaken.
#A13 #GreaterLondon remains closed at #MoversLane #Barking after the #A1153 junction. The vehicle has now been recovered and carriageway clean-up/ barrier repairs are underway. Long delays in the area, pls follow @TfLTrafficNews for updates. Consider alternative routes from #M25. pic.twitter.com/yYK0suKA0M
