Tesco Express in North Road
Essex Police are investigating after a car was used to break into a South Ockendon shop.
Thieves targeted Tesco Express in North Road at around 1.40am this morning, using a black Ford Fiesta to break into the store.
The vehicle was seen leaving the scene of the burglary in the direction of Upminster.
The investigation is currently at an early stage, however it is believed that money was taken during the raid.
Officers have asked members of the public who may have seen or heard anything, have CCTV, or have dashcam footage after driving in the area to call Essex Police on 101.
