Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage following a disturbance at a Grays pub.

Officers are appealing for information after a disturbance that took place on Lodge Lane, Grays, yesterday afternoon.

Police were called just before 4pm on Sunday, June 10 and officers went on to attend the scene.

It is believed the incident took place outside The Oak pub.

After searching the area, two men aged in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of affray. A woman, also in her 20s, was arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage.

All three currently remain in custody,

A teenager was also arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and has been released on bail until Sunday, June 8.

Anyone with information, or who may have been driving through the area at the time and has dash cam footage, is asked to call 101 and speak to Grays CID. The crime reference number for this incident is 832 of 10/06.
