Police have arrested a man on suspicion of aggravated burglary as part of their investigation into the death of a man in a laundrette.

A man was found dead at Baylee's Laundrette on Southend Road in Grays on Monday night.

It is alleged that around five men were seen entering the property armed with weapons.

During that incident, a 39-year-old man from Milton Keynes suffered multiple injuries and died with the others fled the scene.

A 28-year-old man has today been arrested in Hertfordshire on suspicion of aggravated burglary and he remains in custody for questioning. 

A 39-year-old man from Grays was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday, December 4, and he has been released on bail until Thursday, December 28, pending further enquiries.

A post-mortem into the man's death is taking place today.

Essex Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help them with their investigation.
