A convenience store has been robbed by two men armed with a hammer.
The two men entered Happy Shopper in Jesmond Road in Grays on Monday, November 27 at around 7:35pm, and threatened staff before leaving with cash and cigarettes.
They then got into a black Ford Focus, believed to be a 03 plate, with two other men inside.
The first suspect was described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, aged in his late 20s and of a large build. He had dark stubble and wore a black woolly hat, a black jacket, dark trousers and dark trainers.
The second suspect was described as white, around 6ft tall, of a skinny build and wore a black bobble hat, trousers and jacket.
Anyone with information is asked to call Grays CID on 101 quoting incident 942 of 27/11 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
