GENEROUS fundraisers have collected more than £3,900 for a hospice.
A football match at Bowers and Pitsea Football Club, organised by referee Chris Cooper raised the cash and featured celebrities including Scott Robinson from boy band Five and Che Chesterman from X Factor for St Luke’s Hospice.
Mr Cooper organised the event and set up “United for Charity” in 2013 after his mother passed away at the hospice in Basildon.
