GRANGEWATERS is hosting another series of seasonal activities this December – this time with a Christmas twist.
The event will take place at the outdoor centre in Buckles Lane, South Ockendon.
Beginning on Tuesday December 6 with wreath making, young people can wonder around the woodland and collecting natural materials to create their very own wreath to take home.
This is followed on Wednesday December 7 with the Christmas Tree Trail. Those feeling adventurous can abseil down the giant Christmas tree and help the resident woodland fairy find her decorations to hang.
Santa's elves need help on Thursday December 8 and December 15 to collect all the gifts ready for Christmas Eve. Grab a paddle, jump in a canoe raft and help collect the items which have been dropped on the way.
Sue MacPherson, councillor for neighbourhoods said: "Following our successful events in the summer and October half term, I'm thrilled the amazing team at Grangewaters is putting on more activities.
"What a great way to get young people into the festive spirit!"
