Two Gateway Academy teachers hit the turf for this year's London Marathon, raising a whopping £1,758 for charity Ormiston Families in the process.
Head of Phoenix College Matt Clark and Gateway Vice Principal Nathan Hunniset's aim was to raise £3,000. They now have set their target for the next few months with other fundraising activities.
The seasoned runners have previously tackled the London Marathon once, with Mr Clark also completing the Edinburgh Marathon and Mr Hunnisett completing the Brighton Marathon last year.
Ormiston Families is a leading charity that supports families in need, and improves their life chances.
Emily Sheridan, Relationship Manager, Individual Giving at Ormiston Families, said “We are very grateful to Matt & Nathan for running the marathon for our charity this year."
