PARENTS from St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School rolled up their sleeves to wrap gifts for ‘mum’ at a special Mother’s Day sale.
The Parent and Teacher Association bought and wrapped presents which pupils then bought – raising over £700 for the school.
Donna Sage, PTA Chair commented: “The help and support from the parents who wrapped and sold the presents really enabled the PTA to raise additional funds for the school.”
The school also recently held its popular Easter Egg raffle and Spring Fayre, which was made possible by generous donations from local businesses.
These included a giant egg from Thorntons at Lakeside, Rates Ford, Vauxhall Tony Le Voi Lakeside, Kids R Us, The Essex Wildlife Trust Chafford Gorges, R. Mumford & Son, Sue’s Schoolwear and Yamaguchi Goju Kai Karate.
