THURROCK’S longest-running musical event – Vera Plumridge’s Musical Soiree – will return to the Thameside Theatre on Monday.
Vera, one of the most soughtafter piano tutors in south Essex, has been holding her soirees for more than three decades, attracting talent and talent spotters from far and wide.
This year, the night of music, comedy, vocals and dancing will be delighting audiences for its 36th year.
Performers will include Vera’s brother, Norman, with his big band, as well as Vera herself, taking the stage by popular request after performing at last year’s soiree in memory of her late husband Gilbert.
The event will be run in association with the Rotary Club of Mardyke Valley at the Thameside Theatre, Grays, and the evening’s proceeds will go to Help Musicians UK.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £10.
For more information, or to book tickets, you can call Vera on 01375 373473.
