A YOUNG dog enthusiast from Stanford-le-Hope spent the start of her summer holidays with her four pet dogs at the Young Kennel Club summer camp.
Seven-year-old Isobel Khawaja joined 67 other dog-loving children, aged six to 15, at the camp in Gloucestershire focused on dog training.
The talented youngster is also a very keen reader and has written her first book – a story about dogs.
Isobel said: “I started taking part in dog activities with my family. I really enjoyed my first time at the camp and learning about dog handling and making new friends.”
Gerald King, chairman of the Young Kennel Club, said: “The annual camp is an important event in the development of young people.”
