TRAVELLING up St Chads Road in Tilbury today, outside Kushtys, I saw a big rat wander into the road.
It was about 3.35pm – I then saw another one running up Stephenson Avenue.
I find this disgusting – I have contacted Thurrock Council and am awaiting a reply.
A friend told me she complained about rats in her street and was told there is nothing the council can do, so are we just going to be left with vermin scavenging through our streets – surely that is a health and hygiene issue?
Why are we paying council tax if the environment we live in is running alive with vermin which could lead to diseases.
