SOME time ago I wrote to Thurrock Conservative MP Jackie Doyle-Price about the danger to the health of students using the sport fields of the Gateway Academy in Tilbury, from diesel exhaust gases drifting across from the lorry park and distribution centre.
Can she persuade Forth Ports to install an air quality monitoring station between the development and the sports fields to indicate any danger to students.
After all, she claims Goverment ministers listened to her over the residents’ discount for the Dartford Crossing.
So perhaps Forth Ports will listen to her over any possible harm to students.
