THE page 7 article (Free meals link to not going to university, Gazette, August 23) is, in my opinion, incorrect.
My daughter was one of those who had free school meals, but she still went to university.
She graduated this July 18 from Northampton.
I am not the only parent who has got their children into university, even if they had to go up north of the country to get in.
