YOUNGSTERS are invited to read at their local library with the launch of a new scheme.
Thurrock Council’s libraries will be starting the Booktime Story Clubs for four and five-year-olds at five local libraries.
The sessions will be at Blackshots Library on Thursdays between 3.30pm and 4.30pm, Corringham on Fridays between 3.30pm and 4.30pm, East Tilbury on Tuesdays from 3.15pm to 4.30pm, Grays on Wednesdays from 3.45pm to 4.20pm and at Tilbury on Mondays from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
Children need to come with an adult.
The Booktime Story Club is part of a national project supported by the Government and the Arts
Council aimed at encouraging young children to join their library and read for pleasure.
