A DOMINO of books was created to raise cash for Comic Relief.

Staff at Grays Library wanted to do something fun so over recent weeks they have been sorting books of similar sizes - books that have been withdrawn from stock – and put about 300 together.

They then spent an hour standing them up, starting at the top of the stairs and then winding down to the ground floor of the library in the Thameside complex.

Grays library staff also held a cake sale for everyone working in the building.

Altogether £100 was raised for Comic Relief.
