TWO men from South Ockendon are facing jail after being convicted of conspiring to commit grievous bodily harm.
Edwin Schreech-Powell and Dale Frame were found guilty by a jury of five men and seven women at Chelmsford Crown Court yesterday, following an eight week trial.
The pair were among four men charged with conspiring to murder and conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm to Clacton nightworker Jamie Usedon, in Dudley Road, on March 15.
Screech-Powell, 30 of Garth Road, and Frame, 26, of Broxburn Drive, will be sentenced together in December.
The pair were cleared of the first charge, conspiring to murder.
Fellow defendants Daniel Yates, 40, Araglen Avenue, in South Ockendon, and taxi driver Robert Knight, 50, Lowlands Drive, Aveley, were cleared on both counts.
