LONDON BOROUGH OF BEXLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ORDER 2018 (FARM PLACE, CRAYFORD) NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ORDER 2018 (FARM PLACE, CRAYFORD) NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made to enable Carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out by FM Conway, the effects of which will be the closure to vehicular traffic, of Farm Place, Crayfbrd at the junction from outside 12 Crayford Way. Banning left and right turning movement into Farm Place from Crayfbrd Way and the introduction of no waiting and no loading restrictions on both sides of the road when required, Access will always be maintained for residents.

2. The Order will come into effect on Thursday 23rd August 2018 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be required.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made to enable Carriageway Resurfacing works to be carried out by FM Conway, the effects of which will be the closure to vehicular traffic, of which will be the closure to vehicular traffic, of Thanet Road, Bexley between the junctions with Bourne Road, Dane Close, Albert Road and Parkhill Road. Banning left and right turning movements from Bourne Road into Thanet Road and Banning left and right turning movement from Parkhill Road into Thanet Road and the introduction of no waiting and no loading restrictions on both sides of the road when required. Access will always be maintained for residents.

2. The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 28th August 2018 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within two weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route will be made available via Parkhill, Bexley High Street and Bourne Road.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made to enable carriageway Resurfacing works, as well as resurfacing the whole roundabout, to be carried out by FM Conway, the effects of which will be the closure to vehicular traffic of Long Lane, Belvedere Road and Bedonwell Road, Bexleyheath. Banning turning movements at the roundabout as required by the works and the introduction of no waiting and no loading restrictions from outside 220 - 200a and 197 to 221 Long Lane on both sides of the road when required. Localised diversion routes to be confirmed nearer the time

2. The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 28th August 2018 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within one week.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route will be made available via Localised diversion routes to be confirmed nearer the time.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAY - LONDON BOROUGH OF BEXLEY
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247(2A)
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BEXLEY (STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS) ORDER (NO 2) 2017
The Council of the London Borough of Bexley hereby gives notice that it has made an order under section 247(2A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, as amended, the effect of which will be to authorise the stopping up of parts of a highway known as Lensbury Way, Thamesmead in the London Borough of Bexley as set out in the schedule in order to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under the Act
The order; if made, will provide for the provision of a new highway before the sections of Lensbury Way numbered I and 2 in the schedule are stopped up. The order will also provide for improvements to the highways in Lensbury Way before the stopping up takes place.
A copy of the order and the order map may be inspected free of charge at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT on Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the order may within 6 weeks of 22 August 2018 make an application to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the order or any provision contained therein. Schedule
1. A length of Lensbury Way commencing at the roundabout with Harrow Manorwayand extending to the north east corner of the Bexley Pupil Referral Service for a length of 124.5 metres and a width of 12.4 metres

2. A length of Lensbury Way footway commencing at the southern end of the Coralline Walk building extending northwards to outside No 13 for a length of 60 metres and a width of 2.0 metres.
