CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PROPOSALS FOR CHANGING THE LOWER AGE RANGE AT

HIRST WOOD NURSERY SCHOOL AND LILYCROFT NURSERY SCHOOL TO INCLUDE 2 YEAR OLDS

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council intends to make prescribed alterations to the following schools from 1 September 2018

1. Hirst Wood Nursery School, 3 Carlton Avenue, Saltaire, Shipley BD18 4NJ



Hirst Wood Nursery School currently caters for pupils aged 3 to 5 and the proposal is to change the lower age range to include 2 year olds. The proposed alteration will make provision for up to 36 part time 2 year old pupils to be admitted into the nursery school.

2. Lilycroft Nursery School, Lilycroft Road, Bradford, BD9 5AD Lilycroft Nursery School currently caters for pupils aged 3 to 5 and the proposal is to change the lower age range to include 2 year olds. The proposed alteration will make provision for up to 24 part time 2 year old pupils to be admitted into the nursery school.
