1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. X) Traffic Order 20XX would beto:-

Revoke the following parking places from the Bexleyheath Station Controlled Parking Zone,
a) all existing resident permit holder bays, operating 10.00am to 12.00noon & 3.30pm to 5.30pm Monday
to Friday, on Harcourt Road, Bexleyheath b} all existing resident permit holder bays, operating 10.00am to HOOnoon Monday to Friday, on Abbey
Road, Bexleyheath
c) existing business permit holder bay, operating 10.00am to I XOOnoon Monday to Friday, on the east side of Abbey Road, Bexleyheath

d) existing resident or business permit holder bay, operating 10.00am to I XOOnoon Monday to Friday, on the west side of Abbey Road, Bexleyheath

3. The general effect of the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. X) Traffic Order 20XX would be to:-

Introduce the following parking places in the Bexleyheath Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone.
e) introduce resident permit holder bays, operating 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday on both sides of Harcourt Road, Bexleyheath in to the Bexleyheath Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone.

f) introduce resident permit holder bays, operating 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday on both sides of Abbey Road, Bexleyheath in to the Bexleyheath Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone.

g) introduce business permit holder bay, operating 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday on the east side of Abbey Road, Bexleyheath in to the Bexleyheath Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone.

h) introduce resident or business permit holder bay, operating 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday on the west side of Abbey Road, Bexleyheath in to the Bexleyheath Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone.

4. The general effect of the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. X) Traffic Order 20XX would be to:-

Replace the following waiting restrictions
i) replace existing' 10.00am to I XOOnoon Monday to Friday1 waiting restrictions with '8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday' no waiting restrictions in Abbey Road and Harcourt Road, Bexleyheath.

5. The general effect of the above proposals will be to move the parking places detailed from the Bexleyheath Station CPZ to the Bexleyheath Town Centre CPZ changing operational hours of the parking places and waiting restrictions accordingly. Charges for permits will also change, resident permits being £40.00 per quarter or £120.00 per annum and business permits being £70.00 per quarter and £200.00 per annum.

6. Plans showing the proposals, a copy of the draft Order and statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours at The Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT

7. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the London Borough of Bexley, Traffic Services, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT or by email to traffic@bexley.gov.uk wfthin twenty-one days of this Notice.

8. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
