BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-

30 April 2018
(a) The temporary closure of Circus Street, Brighton to through traffic.

(b) To enable access it will be necessary to suspend the Temporary Prohibition of Southbound Traffic Order on Circus Street for the

duration of this closure.
(c) It will be necessary to maintain the Temporary Prohibition of waiting at

any time on the West side of Circus Street for its entire length, for the
duration of this closure.
2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry out repairs to the sewer.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4.This Order comes into force on 30 April 2018 for eighteen months or until
such sooner time as the works are completed which is anticipated to be
2 July 2018.
