Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Section 53a(2) Footpath 35.39/3 Newthorpe Quarry, Huddlestone with Newthorpe Diversion Order 2017
On 27/2/18 North Yorkshire County Council confirmed the above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert that section of public footpath running around the perimeter of Newthorpe Quarry from Grid Reference SE 4578 3204 east for approximately 117 metres to Grid Reference SE 4591 3207 then south for approximately 78 metres to Grid Reference SE 4593 3199 and create an alternative footpath instead on to a line running from Grid Reference SE 4578 3204 southwards for approximately 83 metres to Grid Reference SE 4580 3196 then east for approximately 130 metres to Grid Reference SE 4593 3199, as shown on the Order map, and to modify the West Riding Area 2 Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Selby Library, 52 Micklegate, Selby YO8 4EQ, North Yorkshire until 19/04/18. Copies may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. This Order comes into force on the date on which North Yorkshire County Council certify that the terms of Article 2 ofthe Order have been complied with butifanyperson aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 ofSchedule 14 to the Act.
