(Footpath 3, Harwich) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) (No.2) Order 2017
Further to a notices: Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 31 October 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close for Footpath 3, Harwich in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Main Road, north west for a distance of approximately 200 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 November 2017 for 6 months, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public due to vandalism at the development site.
The Order will come into effect on 21 November 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Order 2017 Footpaths 10,11 & 12 Mistley and Footpaths 8, 11 &12 Bradfield

The above order, made on 13 October 2017, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the entire length except where stated of the following footpaths:
Footpath 11 Mistley commencing from a point at the field edge on the eastern side of Clacton Road running across an arable field in an east-northeast then southeast then easterly direction crossing the parish boundary continuing as Footpath 8 Bradfield running in a generally north easterly direction for 431 metres to connect to Footpath 10 Bradfield, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running along an arable field boundary in an easterly direction crossing the parish boundary continuing as Footpath 8 Bradfield for 367 metres to connect to Footpath 12 Bradfield. Footpath 11 Bradfield commencing from a point along the headland where it connects to Footpath 12 Bradfield running in a generally northerly direction across an arable field for 62 metres where it connects to Footpath 8 Bradfield then in a northerly direction across the field, crossing the parish boundary continuing as Footpath 10 Mistley for a final distance of 324 metres to the field edge on the south side of Steam Mill Road, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from a point on the headland 31 metres northeast of the aforementioned start point running in a generally northerly direction along an arable field boundary for 366 metres to the field edge on the south side of Steam Mill Road 28 metres east of the aforementioned end point.
Footpath 12 Mistley commencing at the field edge on the eastern side of Clacton Road running across an arable field in a north easterly direction crossing the parish boundary continuing as Footpath 12 Bradfield running along the western side of a field boundary for 500 metres to a point on the field headland, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from the existing field entrance on the east side of Clacton Road approximately 71 metres south of the aforementioned start point which it replaces as an access from Clacton Road running along the headland on the eastern side of Clacton Road in a generally northerly direction for 70 metres to the aforementioned start point then continuing in a north westerly then generally northerly direction for a further 402 metres to a point opposite Bridleway 13 Mistley where a new footbridge is to be installed over the ditch to Clacton Road providing a new crossing point to Bridleway 13 Mistley, then continuing along the headland on the eastern side of Clacton Road in a northerly direction for a final distance of 74 metres to connect to Footpath 11 Mistley. A further part length of Footpath 12 Bradfield commencing at the field edge west of Footpath 11 running in a north easterly direction across the arable field for a distance of 58 metres to a point 24 metres out from the field headland continuing in an east, north easterly direction across the field for 65 metres to reconnect to the field headland, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running along the headland in a north easterly direction for 118 metres to the aforementioned end point where it continues unaffected.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Town Hall, Station Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 1SE and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH no later than 14 December 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(Portland Crescent, Dovercourt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Portland Crescent, Dovercourt in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Main Road to its junction with Portland Avenue, a distance of approximately 146m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th December 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2206935 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Portland Avenue, Mill Hill Main Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Tendring District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.12) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in Schedule 1.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 10th November 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The Order will come into effect on 10th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
